The exchange of information is no longer limited to “strategic and technical information”. Instead, Frontex should provide Europol with the information collected via EUROSUR and make available to it the personal data of persons suspected of carrying out cross-border criminal activities37 On this basis, the Executive Directors of Frontex and Europol signed in 2018 a “Declaration of Principles for Cooperation between Europol and Frontex”.
